General Manager |
John's career in audio began in 1987 as a rental technician and grew to include experience as an onsite audio engineer and maintenance engineer. By 1990 John was involved in rebuilding the audio and communications portion of a mobile television truck and by 1992 was fully entrenched in the intercom business. Five years later, John recognized a need in the intercom field and decided to fill it by creating Vista Manufacturing Alternatives. He later changed the name to Versacom and merged with ATK Audiotek. As General Manager of ATK Versacom, John has built a diversified staff of engineers who manage to stay a step ahead of the industry by designing and manufacturing high end products to serve the client.

Operations Manager |
Jim joined ATK Versacom in 2007 backed by nearly 30 years experience in the audio trade. His career as a broadcast audio mixer began with the Disney Company where Jim mixed everything "the mouse" could throw at him from television sitcoms and soaps, to parades and press events. Jim went on to manage the operations of a Broadway based sound company for several years, enjoyed a freelance career and finally made his way west to ATK Versacom. As Operations Manager, Jim looks for new ways to streamline the day to day activity of a very busy shop. Responsibilities include logistics, project management, sales and rentals, and client relations.

Supervising Engineer |
Matt's career in intercom began in 1998 with the original Vista Manufacturing Alternatives, where he modified intercom systems and further developed his skills as a sales and rental technician. Matt then co-founded Versacom along with John Arenas. Today, Matt not only repairs equipment but also packages systems for a wide range of shows. As Supervising Engineer for ATK Versacom, Matt designs, installs and operates large-scale intercom systems for high profile broadcast special events such as the "Super Bowl" and "Summer X Games", "Bass Masters" and Disney's Feature film Premiers.

Staff Engineer |
Joe joined the ATK Versacom team in 2004 as Staff Technician and brought with him valuable skills from the industry. Joe's in shop responsibilities require him to assemble, maintain and repair many of ATK Versacom's more complex intercom systems. His show site responsibilities have Joe both installing and operating those systems. Joe's expertise as a staff engineer has landed him on numerous high profile events including the hit game show "Deal or No Deal", "Super Bowl" and the "Winter X Games".

Staff Engineer/ RF Technician |
Thomas has been active in the production rental business since 1994. He joined ATK Versacom in 2006 as a Staff Technician and by 2008 was elevated to RF Technician. Thomas handles the design, maintenance and wiring of our custom RF packages. In addition to his duties as RF Technician, Thomas provides excellent onsite event support to a variety of clients.

Bill has extensive experience in the film and television production business having served as COO and CFO for RTL Group, Pearson Television N.A. and ACI, Inc. His prior experience was in television broadcasting where he was CFO for the Fox Television Station Group and Director of Planning and Administration for the CBS owned and operated station, WBBM-TV, Chicago. Bill has an MBA and an MA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
